About

First introduced in 2024, the Drydockers Regatta brings together professionals from the maritime sector for a weekend of sailing and networking. Created as a lively and welcoming gathering, it offers a unique mix of friendly competition and teamwork on the open sea.

In its debut year, the regatta attracted 150 participants across 17 sailing boats, representing more than 25 shipping companies—a testament to its immediate popularity. Open to both seasoned sailors and newcomers alike, the event strikes the perfect balance between spirited racing and laid-back socializing, all set against the scenery of the Saronic Gulf.

More than just a sporting event, the Drydockers Regatta is an opportunity to foster connections, relax, and share the joy of sailing with colleagues and peers from across the industry. As part of our CSR plan for 2025, we are also committed to environmental protection. This year we will organize a beach clean-up on May 11, 2025, to help preserve the beautiful Saronic coastline and raise awareness about sustainability.

Boats

We provide all the sailing boats for the event, each with an experienced skipper. The boats are monohull yachts designed for both comfort and performance, accommodating up to 10 people, and  the skipper. They feature 4-5 double cabins, three bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living area, ensuring comfortable shared accommodations. The kitchens are fully equipped with household utensils, including coffee makers for filter coffee, and in some cases, espresso machines. Clean sheets, blankets, and towels will be provided on board.

Teams are grouped based on company affiliation, but individual participants or smaller groups will be paired together to form balanced and engaging crews. No sailing experience is required, as the skippers will guide and assist throughout the event. Whether actively participating in the race or simply enjoying the scenic journey, everyone is welcome to sail at their own pace.

Beach clean-up

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) plan for 2025, we have committed to contributing to the protection of the environment. In collaboration with local authorities and environmental organisations, we are organizing a beach clean-up activity on May 11, 2025, during the Drydockers Regatta event AGW WP.

This initiative reflects our dedication to preserving the natural beauty of the Saronic coastline and raising awareness about the importance of environmental sustainability. By actively engaging our participants in this meaningful effort, we aim to make a positive impact on the local ecosystem and encourage a collective responsibility for environmental conservation.
